So what's the catch? There's always a catch, right? Right! It's TANSTAAFL. You have to help pay for it: $2 per 15 minutes. No, that's not dollars, it's pesos! That's about 18 cents per 15 minutes, and just over 70 cents an hour. If you're used to Kinko's prices it's a welcome relief. It's a 256K DSL line, so it'll handle 10 to 20 people surfing at any given time. If you have your own Wifi-enabled (802.11b or 802.11g) laptop or palmtop, you don't pay for access at all! But TANSTAAFL. Take a pastry and put $6 pesos into the kitty. Or coffee, only $4 pesos for an 8-oz. mugfull, $6 for the big 12-oz. mug. No free refills either, buddy! So far I'm not charging extra for sugar and creamer though... gotta automate it somehow first! }:^)

A much faster IRC is nirc, and you can chat with AIM (naim),
or MSN (amsn), all of which are available from the fluxbox menu. Right-click
on any free area on the screen, and scroll down to 'Net', then 'IM' or 'IRC'
as you prefer, and select the client program you want.
Where is it? Third house behind Pollos Los Mochis, the seafood restaurant one block north of Calle Ensenada on the main drag, Blvd. Benito Juarez. Look for (3) on this map, it's just a little farther up (north) the street and down towards the ocean. Pink house with white rejas, you can't miss it. The party is right there in the front, under the awning. If the door isn't open, just holler; maybe I overslept.
Check out our new webcam! It's a real cheapo cam, so it'll be pitch-black at night and all washed-out white during most of the day... but on cloudy days or twilight you might even see something!
